Ticks On Dogs

Hey everyone, and thanks for checking out my page.  I guess you are curious a little bit more about me since you’re here, so I hope I’m interesting enough!

My name is Jane, and I’m 43 years old with two wonderful children (Richard and Matthew).  I also have three Golden Retrievers (Lucy, Lauren, and BoBo).  On top of all of that, I have a horse, Maxamillion.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Eric, and we live in northwestern Georgia, where we both grew up.  Eric is a general contractor, and I’m a stay-at-home mom (trust me, taking care of our whole crew is a full time job!).

I love all sorts of outdoor activities from horse riding, hiking, to just sitting down by the creek and reading.  I love to read fiction, and although Eric always teases me about it, I am addicted to romance novels.

I decided to create this website because where we live, we have a major tick problem almost year-round.  With three Golden Retrievers, it can be pretty tough constantly digging through their fur trying to make sure they don’t have any ticks.  I had looked all over online trying to find information about getting rid of ticks and getting them off my dogs, but had a hard time finding many things that helped at all.  I hope that my blog will help other dog owners that are having a hard time as well.  Ticks on dogs can be one of the toughest pests to get rid of, so hopefully by sharing some things that I have learned, other people wont have to go through as much stress and waste as much as time as I did.
